OK, so you’ve entered the working world full-time and are beginning to settle down in life. What’s next? In our experience, we’ve discovered that finding a cozy, Christian community to call home is vital for spiritual growth. Think about it—in order for God to build up His church, He has to work locally. He designed us that way, to crave true, vibrant fellowship with other believers—both inside and outside the traditional Sunday church setting. And why wouldn’t we?
We are in desperate need for guidance to learn the ropes in this new stage of life from those older than us. Our sense of purpose is also strengthened as we begin to look out for those who are a little younger in the faith. And our understanding of God’s Word is challenged and broadened whenever we come together. In essence, planting our church roots allows us to fully realize and enjoy all of God’s blessings.
