Christ Child House has been providing care for abused and neglected children in the Detroit area since 1948. Today it is an intensive treatment center fully licensed by the state of Michigan to provide residential services for up to 31 boys, ages 6 through 16, who suffer emotional, behavioral and physical impairment resulting from severe abuse and neglect.

Two or three times a month, about a dozen of the boys from Christ Child house come to the church in Livonia to play sports in the gym with us. We are building great relationships with the boys and having a fun and energetic time. After the sports, we take the boys downstairs and share some basic stories and topics from the bible with them. They have been very open and receptive to hear from the bible and also to build relationships with us. We end with a snack. Join us!
